3D MODELING

The clearest way to see in details a project, involves technical drawing, 3D modelling and rendering.

It facilitate the visualization of the scale, defines the colours, shapes, materials and lighting.

MODEL MAKING

Fabrication of scale models according to the client’s needs.

With removable parts and easy  assembly or simple volumes for study. We have a 3D printer, CNC cutting, and laser to achieve the best results.

PROP MAKING

Design and creation of elements in different material and techniques, depending on the client’s needs.

We work with cardboard, wood, resins, rubber, and various other materials.

about us

CUBICO is the project of Mariana Romanella and Jean François Salvione, two artisans and designers based in Montreal.

Having more than 20 years of experience in the visual and living arts sector, they have all the skills, tools and knowledge to obtain the best results for the design and realization of scenography project.

They attach importance to the details of each step of the creation process, from the first sketches and 3D modeling, to the choice of suitable materials, manufacturing processes and installation of the space to be designed.

Passionate about their vocation, they are constantly on the lookout for new manufacturing techniques an trends in the field.

Whether as designers or to support creators in their efforts, their respective paths and points of view on the job will lead to fair,balanced and complete solutions.

Jean-François Salvione works as a scenography designer for various contexts: theater, events, festivals, circus, TV and museum. With a creative and rigorous approach, in various production and creation contexts, he is a trusted ally, identifying the essence of the artistic content as well as the production and technical issues of the projects in which he is involved.

In his approach, Jean-François exploits and expresses himself, through mediums and techniques such as 3D modeling, technical plans, renderings, illustration, 3D printing and digital cutting.

Mariana Romanella is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She completed her studies at the National School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredón and studied visual arts and image digitization at IUNA. In 1998, she began working in advertising and cinema as a painter and props maker.
In 2006, she opened her own set production and scenic painting workshop where she worked for local and international clients: advertising, cinema, theatre, television, commercial installations and events. She specializes in the manufacture of objects, models, paintings and paintings of faux finishes.
In 2017, she moved to the city of Montreal, Canada, where he currently lives.
